If you want to start comparing Paris and London, you should start with A Tale of Two Cities, the novel of Charles Dickens, set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution. The novel depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution, the corresponding brutality demonstrated by the revolutionaries toward the former aristocrats in the early years of the revolution, and many unflattering social parallels with life in London during the same period.In real life, Paris and London are the most compared cities in Europe when it comes to culture, writers, language, architecture, people, politics, and last but not least, FASHION INDUSTRY.
Paris vs. London: which is the real Fashion Capital?
Parisian Fashion: a Chanel tailored suit and little black dress, the silk scarves and Bags from Hermes, luxury leather suitcases, clothing and shoes from Louis Vuitton.
British Fashion: a Burberry pattern-based scarves, trench coats, a blended fusion of tartan, chunky knits and studded boots.
We can see a style that portrays the rebellious character of the British people, in comparison with a certain tastefully luxe aura created by Parisian chicness.
Diversity across country and culture is a fascinating thing, with distinctive styles in terms of Fashion. Still, when it comes of London vs. Paris in terms of fashion, both cities have their own statement!
To reply to THE question, French blog ParisZigZag took into consideration all the indicators, from who’s got the coolest bars and hottest girls to the tastiest food. They turned the big question into a funky set of infographics.
I would have chosen a way skinier French girs, with a messy hair bun.
