Working into the luxury sector, I’ve seen all kinds of clients: those that are buying shoes as a necessity and those at the opposite side, buying shoes for pleasure, displaying them as bijoux, on the walls. There are a lot of women out there spending more money on shoes on daily bases, than most of our monthly salaries. I know women that have a room only for shoes, bigger than my apartment, where their shoes are displayed as an art product. Many of those shoes have never been worn, but they must have them, otherwise their world could collapse. But then again, they say shopping is cheaper than a psychiatrist, and shoes are a must when having a break-down. Been there, done that.

Giuseppe Zanotti’s Rebel Angels Spring-Summer 2016 Advertising Campaign
Filmed through Antoine Asseraf’s lenses, the campaign features model Agathe Rousselle into a hot alternation between a rebel and an angel.
“Freedom, individuality and self-confidence are the driving forces behind the new collection. I wanted to design pieces for a multi-faceted woman – someone who is simultaneously a Rebel and an Angel; edgy but also elegant. Today there are no rules or dictates – the same woman can wear embroidered suede espadrilles one day and 14 inch bi-color metallic platform sandals the next. The new collection is decidedly modern and as such it really called for an innovative approach. SS16 collection is organized into two distinct but interconnected themes – 66 Sunset and 2nd Floor – transcending the entire line into a fresh and contemporary context.

Jimmy Choo Spring Summer 2016 Campaign
Bathed in Californian sunlight and blue skies, the SS16 campaign is upbeat and care-free reflecting the spirit of the collection.
Imagine you are surrounded by an incredible blue sky, Californian palm trees and an amazing turquoise pool, the perfect backdrop to make you feel in paradise.
The campaign is signed by New York-based creative agency Laird + Partners, having the creative director Sandra Choi as the headmaster.

Creative director Bruno Frisoni has, like many other designers, looked to the ’70s for inspiration, adopting a more youthful and vibrant spirit this time.

As you can see, 70s are the new trademark for season 2016, and Sergio Rossi’s resort collection didn’t dissapoint us, taking a look into the 70s, that made them include various suede boots with new, modern detailing like whipstitching and perforations. A good choice, I would say, wouldn’t you?
